During this week 573 new patients were registered here at the LMKR Hospital . Among those 573 patients, 33 remained admitted with us in our IPD, and 21 were referred to tertiary care centers for further evaluation and medical care. In our rehabilitation center, 9 new cases were registered for physiotherapy and the remaining 510 patients were treated in our OPD.

An alarming event that occurred during this week was the rising numbers of measles cases. A total of 12 children suffering from measles remained admitted with us in our Isolation ward. All measles cases again were reported to the concerned health care authorities. Vaccinations against measles are in progress throughout the entire tent village in H-11 to prevent the spread of this very harmful communicable disease.
