EID Celebrations at the LMKR Hospital

EID was celebrated at the H-11 LMKR’s Hospital with a lot of zeal. The Hospital and LMKR’s management arranged a host of fun-filled activities for the children. The activities were not limited to only our Hospital’s child patients and around 50 children from various other neighboring camps also took part in them. Activities such as drawing and painting competitions were conducted between 2nd to 5th grade children. Sports were also the main highlights of the day with various cricket and football matches arranged for children of various age groups. Also on the Eid-ul-Adha eve, the girls were involved in face painting and applying Mehndi on their hands. Another spectacle on the Eid day was the singing competition for which various prizes were given off to the winning children.

A lunch was organized for the children on Eid day at the Hospital camp, where LMKR employees and their families were also present. LMKR officials and their children actively took part in these proceedings and intermingled with the hospitalized children. Eid day in general was a breath of fresh air for all the children residing at our H-11 Hospital and resulted in contentment for both, the Hospital Staff and the Families of the affected children. The various extra-curricular activities brought smiles not only on the children’s faces but also their families.
