8th October 2005 Earthquake Information

The present earthquake originate with in the fault system of MBT. Its epicenter is close to Muzafarabad and about 92 km from Islamabad. On Richter Scale it has been recorded 7.6. 83 aftershocks greater than 4 magnitude have been reported. Epicenter of 8/10 event and other after shocks are plotted in the map. The stress point is shifted NW.
